Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (26) won Super Bowl MVP after putting up a total of 293 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday night.

Hurts got the Eagles on the board to start the game with their classic tush push to go up 7-0.

Then he also threw a pair of touchdowns to his main wide receivers DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown to help the Eagles earn an absolutely dominant 40-22 win over the Chiefs

"I think in the end, things come around in time. Last time around, it wasn't our time. It wasn't my time and sometimes you have to accept that you have to wait your time," said Hurts who lost in the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2023.

"Going through all the emotions and processing the feelings and experience did a great thing and enhanced my desire to win," he added.

Despite the scoring plays, Hurts also had a couple of big gains himself on the ground, leading the team with 72 rushing yards on 11 attempts in comparison to his star running back Saquon Barkley, who was held to just 57 yards on 25 attempts.

During his team's Super Bowl run, Hurts threw for a total of 726 yards, four touchdowns, and just one interception with a combined passer rating of 108.1. He also ran for a total of 194 yards and five touchdowns.

His 119.7 passer rating in Super Bowl LIX was his personal highest of the postseason.
