The numbers that matter

Who kicked big bags this week?
St Kilda's Liam Ryan was the star of the round with a match-winning six goals in GWS' eight-point win over St Kilda, which also saw Cooper Sharman (St Kilda) and Aaron Cadman (GWS) boot four each. Adelaide's Josh Rachele also kicked four goals, as did North Melbourne pair Nick Larkey and Jack Darling in their one-point thriller against West Coast.

Team of the Week
Jordan Dawson (Adelaide) and Will Ashcroft (Brisbane) piled on enormous AFL.com fantasy scores this weekend and lead our Team of the Week, which has three Saints and three Giants.

The naughty boys
Gold Coast Suns are challenging a $1000 fine handed to Daniel Rioli, but for good reason: the club faces an enormous additional fine of up to $50,000 if Rioli is found guilty, as this will be the club's fifth sanction handed down for umpire contact.
The AFL warned clubs four weeks ago of a general club punishment should their players collectively be found guilty of umpire contact five times in one season as a crackdown on a spate of incidents earlier in the season.
Suspensions:
Paul Curtis (North Melbourne) - Rough conduct - 3 matches
Other fines:
Artie Jones (Western Bulldogs) - Rough conduct - $2000 or $3000 fine
Rowan Marshall (St Kilda) - Striking - $1500 or $2500 fine
Josh Rachele (Adelaide) - Striking - $1000 or $1500 fine
Daniel Rioli (Gold Coast) - Umpire contact - $1000 or $1500 fine
Griffin Logue (North Melbourne) - Umpire contact - $1000 or $1500 fine
Charlie Spargo (North Melbourne) - Melee - $1000 or $1500 fine
Finn Callaghan (GWS Giants) - Striking - $1000 or $1500 fine
