Toft had a bright end to the season winning the Champions League trophy with Hungarian club Györ after defeating Danish club Odense in the final.
"When I won my second successive Champions League gold medal, I couldn't stop crying because deep down we already knew that we had won our biggest gold to arrive in December," she writes, showing scan photos with her boyfriend Emil Kaufmann.
"We are very happy and grateful for this moment," she writes further.
She thus completes a real baby boom in the Danish women's national team, where profiles Kathrine Heindahl, Sarah Iversen and most recently Rikke Iversen are all expecting children.
Toft was surprisingly left out for the European Championships last December by then national coach Jesper Jensen, but she ended up joining the squad anyway, when Althea Reinhardt suffered a concussion.
At 35 years old, it's now doubtful if Sandra Toft has played her last international match for Denmark.
