After the Dodgers put up a three-run third inning, the Blue Jays couldn't recover despite outhitting the Dodgers 8-4 and holding them to a single hit in the final six innings.
Tomorrow's supposed starting pitcher for the Dodgers, Tyler Glasnow, came into the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with runners on second and third with no outs.
After forcing a pop-up for the first out, the Dodgers complete an insane double play to end it all.
Now, the two greatest words in sports - GAME SEVEN!
Game 7 of the World Series is scheduled for Saturday, November 1st.
Full game recap (by inning)
1st inning
Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman sent the Rogers Center into an uproar after he sent Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith, and Freddie Freeman all back to the dugout as he struck out the side on 16 pitches (11 strikes).
In the bottom half of the first, Nathan Lukes hit a one-out single following a George Springer groundout. But Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto would get out of the inning on 12 pitches (nine strikes) after forcing Vladimir Guerrero Jr. into a double play.
Dodgers 0-0 Blue Jays
2nd inning
Gausman would pick up right where he left off with yet another 1-2-3 inning after forcing Mookie Betts to ground out before striking out Teoscar Hernandez and Max Muncy for his fourth and fifth on the night.
After striking out Bo Bichette, Yamamoto was able to finish the inning unscathed after forcing Daulton Varsho to pop out and Ajelandro Kirk to fly out.
Dodgers 0-0 Blue Jays...until the next inning.
3rd inning
After having the best start possible in the first two innings, things began to fall apart for Gausman and fast.
After Kike Hernandez struck out, his Dodgers teammate Tommy Edman would get on base with a double.
Gausman would strike out Miguel Rojas before intentionally walking Ohtani, before the real chaos ensued.
Smith would double off Gausman to bring in Edman from second, moving Ohtani to third to make it 1-0.
Gausman walked Freeman to load the bases, then Mookie Betts, after being moved to the cleanup spot for the game, would hit a clutch two-out, two-run single to put the Dodgers up 3-0.
The Jays' ace would eventually get out of the inning after striking out Hernandez for the second time on the night, finishing with eight total strikeouts through the first three innings.
But the Jays battled back themselves.
After Addison Barger got on with a lead-off double, George Springer, coming back from injury, brought him home with a two-out RBI single.
Yamamoto got out of the bottom half of the inning after striking out Ernie Clement, then forcing Andres Gimenez to ground out and Lukes to fly out, eventually stranding Springer on base.
Dodgers 3-1 Blue Jays
4th inning
The fourth was all about the pitching for both squads.
The damage settled for Gausman in the fourth as he put up a 1-2-3 inning with two pop-outs and a groundout.
Then Yamamoto would end the inning on his second double-play of the evening after sacrificing a single to Bichette.
Dodgers 3-1 Blue Jays
5th inning
It was back-to-back 1-2-3 innings for Gausman as he retired seven batters in a row since the end of the third.
And similar to Gausman, Yamamoto would also get out of the inning without any damage, striking out both Kirk and Barger before getting Clement to fly out.
Dodgers 3-1 Blue Jays
6th inning
It would be Gausman's final inning of the night after his third straight 1-2-3 inning. In 6.0 innings of work, Gausman gave up three runs on three hits with eight strikeouts and two walks.
In the bottom half, despite a Vladdy double and a walk by Bichette, Yamamoto would finish out the inning without sacrificing a run to keep the Dodgers' lead intact for his final inning of the game.
Yamamoto finished the game, giving up one run on five hits with six strikeouts and one walk.
Dodgers 3-1 Blue Jays
7th inning
Blue Jays reliever Louie Varland would come in for Gausman and have a 1-2-3 inning of his own, forcing the Dodgers to go hitless for the fourth straight inning, picking up a strikeout on Kike Hernandez, his second of the game.
In the bottom half, despite allowing a Clement double, Dodgers rookie Justin Wrobleski would get out of the inning after striking out Gimenez.
Wrobleski would improve to 3.2 shutout innings of relief against the Blue Jays
Dodgers 3-1 Blue Jays
8th inning
After getting the first out of the inning with one pitch, Varland's night was done. He finished the game with 1.1 no-hit innings with a strikeout and no walks.
Mason Fluharty would come in to face Ohtani in a lefty-lefty matchup. Ohtani would hit a double to deep left centerfield before Fluharty intentionally walked Smith to put runners on first and second with one out - hoping for a possible double play.
After getting Freeman to fly out, Fluharty's night was done in the blink of an eye as Seranthony Dominguez came in for the righty-righty matchup against Betts, walking him to load the bases.
But Dominguez would pull clutch after striking out Teoscar Hernandez, his third of the game, to get out of the inning.
Dodgers rookie phenom Roki Sasaki came in to pitch for the eighth inning.
After giving up a single to Springer and forcing Lukes to fly out, Sasaki walked Vladdy to put runners on first and second with Bichette up to bat.
Sasaki would force Bichette to pop up in foul territory, followed by a groundout from Varsho to get out of the inning without giving up a run.
Dodgers 3-1 Blue Jays
9th inning
Blue Jays reliever Chris Bassitt would come in to throw a hitless top-half of the inning with a pair of strikeouts to keep the damage at three runs to give the Jays one last chance.
In the bottom of the ninth, with no outs, he hit Kirk on an 0-2 count to bring the tying run to the plate - Addison Barger. He would hit a double off Sasaki that failed to score Kirk after the ball was wedged into the wall, leaving the runners on second and third with no outs.
Dodgers starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow would come in for relief to eventually get the Dodgers out of the jam with a Game 6 win thanks to a game-ending double play.
