In the other semi-final, there was a big difference in level when Aalborg's handball team humiliated Mors-Thy by winning 40-21 in the first Danish Championship semi-final between the two teams on Wednesday evening.
It was only the second time in the club's history that Mors-Thy had reached the top four in the fight for the Danish championship.
Aalborg are more used to being in the fight for medals, and the greater experience and class showed on the scoreboard over the 60 minutes.
