Winnipeg Jets Mark Scheifele (31) became the franchise's all-time leading goal scorer after sending one home in overtime to give the team a 2-1 win over the San Jose Sharks.

Scheifele officially passes Ilya Kovalchuk with his 329th to now hold the all-time franchise record and he did it at the perfect moment. His 32 goals on the season are third-most in the league.

Scheifele has spent all 14 years of his career with the Jets and has scored at least 20 goals in every season (min. 50 games) - except for his two full seasons when he scored 13 (2013-2014) and 15 (2014-2015).

The Jets were shut out by the Sharks all game in what was looking like the biggest upset of the regular season until Josh Morrissey (8) scored with just 26 seconds left in the game to send it to overtime.

Scheifele's goal put the Jets at now a 10-game win streak - also a franchise record. To put that into perspective, the Tampa Bay Lightning hold the second-best win streak at the moment with five straight wins.

Winnipeg also holds the best record in the league at 41-14-3, making them the only team to have over 40 wins. They also lead the league in point differential (+70), with the Washington Capitals (+65) right behind them.

Winnipeg also owns the best power play in the league with a  31.7 percent success rate - no other team in the league has over 30.0.
