On Thursday, the Seattle Seahawks (12-3) took down the Los Angeles Rams (11-4) in overtime by a score of 38-37; a game most fans around the league considered the unofficial 'Game of the Year'!
The Seahawks claimed first place in the NFC West division and the No. 1 seed in the NFC with just two weeks left to go after converting two crucial two-point conversions.
Today, there are two more divisional matchups. The Bears (10-4) are 1.5-point favourites at home against the Packers (9-4-1), with the over-under set at 45.5. Both the Bears and Packers will be fighting for first place in the division with this matchup.
Two weeks ago, the Bears lost in Green Bay 28-21 in the waning seconds as quarterback Caleb Williams threw an interception to end the game.
As for the other, the Eagles (9-5) are heading to Landover, Maryland, to take on the Washington Commanders (4-10). Philly are seven-point favourites with the over-under set at 44.5.
The two division rivals will see each other twice in these final three weeks of the season, with the Commanders ending their season in Philly. Now, let's get into our experts picks!
Packers @ Bears
Losing Micah Parsons will prove to be crucial for the Packers. Before last week, the Bears hadn't won big in a while, but with home-field advantage at Soldier Field, I see them overpowering Jordan Love in a high-stakes game.
Give me Tremaine Edmunds’ Bears!
This has the potential to be as hype as the Rams-Seahawks classic on Thursday night. Both teams are fighting for the NFC North crown in the blistering cold of Chicago
Micah Parsons being out for the Packers will undoubtedly put a damper on their pass rush, leaving them to have to completely re-adjust their game plans to keep the Bears' offence contained.
It'll come down to the wire, but I think the Bears get it done in front of their home crowd.
Not only did the Packers lose last week’s game against Denver, but they also suffered the loss of the highly important Micah Parsons.
The absence of the “1” may even things out considerably, but I believe that Packers pride will come to the fore in Chicago to retake the top spot in the NFC North!
The Bears can prove themselves in a match against their rivals from Green Bay. It's a small rehearsal for the upcoming playoffs, which should show what Chicago is made of.
Carried by the Bears' inventive defense, I'm predicting a narrow victory for the boys in their home stadium.
Eagles @ Commanders
Paul: Eagles 27-13 Commanders
It is a hat-and-shirt game for the Eagles, who win the NFC East with a win tonight. Even though the game is played in Landover, the stadium is always filled with Eagles fans.
After an emphatic shutout win over the Raiders, I believe the Eagles will have little trouble with the Commanders.
Give me Grant Calcaterra’s Eagles!
Eric: Eagles 20-16 Commanders
The Eagles have scored more than 30 points just four times this season, with the most recent two coming against the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders.
I don't expect them to unload a scoring frenzy on a Commanders team with nothing to lose, but they're just the all-around better team from top to bottom.
Washington will show some grit, but will ultimately send their fans around the DMV area back home cold and disappointed.
Miguel: Eagles 33-10 Commanders
A seemingly straightforward divisional clash for the Philadelphia Eagles, who once again have no real competition in the NFC East this season.
The outcome of this match depends on how much damage Philly wants to inflict on Washington, and they are unlikely to show any mercy despite the Commanders being officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Henri: Commanders 23-20 Eagles
Since the middle of the season, I haven't been as impressed with the Eagles as I was at the start of the year. The champions are definitely losing some ground and are no longer as dominant as they should be.
Washington, on the other hand, is going into this division duel without any pressure and will ultimately come out on top by a narrow margin.
