All the big names are in action on Tuesday, including Arsenal, Barcelona, and Inter Milan. Liverpool, PSG, and Real Madrid feature on Wednesday's schedule.
With every minute of every match broadcast live, it promises to be an exciting two days for lovers of the beautiful game.
To celebrate, the top sportsbooks and betting apps offer a wide range of markets, including moneyline, total goals, and handicaps.
Experienced soccer betting writer Frank Monkhouse leans on stats and trends in the Flashscore app to back his strongest picks.
Sabah FK v Slavia Prague, Tuesday, 12:45 PM ET

Sabah FK continued its incredible rise with a UEFA Champions League debut last month, and it now prepares for its first home game at this level.
The Azerbaijan champions battled through four rounds of qualifying to reach the Champions League proper, but a dominant Manchester United swept them aside at Old Trafford on Matchday 1. The Red Devils led 1-0 inside 27 minutes and 3-0 at the break.
Will home-field advantage give Sabah FK a first Champions League win in its second attempt? To get three points on the board, it must defeat a visiting Slavia Prague team that lost 3-2 at home to Lens last time.
Interestingly, all five goals at Fortuna Arena came in the second half, with Lens scoring twice in stoppage time to steal victory from the jaws of defeat. It was a bitter pill for Prague fans to swallow, but Slavia played 40 minutes a man down following Konecny’s red card.
Danijel Sturm was his team’s standout performer despite the result. He scored two goals, including a stunning strike early in the second half. I’m confident he’ll drive Prague’s attack on Tuesday at Baku Olympic Stadium.
Sturm also scored in a 3-0 road win over Sparta Prague in the Czech league in late August. The 27-year-old winger scored 14 goals for club and country last season. Bet on him to score on Tuesday at +280. That’s fair odds on a player with a reputation for delivering in important matches.
Tip: Sturm to score or assist @ +280 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: The winning team and final score aren't important here. Followers need Danijel Sturm to score or provide an assist against Sabah FC.
Arsenal v Lille, Tuesday, 14:00 ET

There’s a huge attraction in London, where last season’s Champions League runners-up Arsenal face the third-best team in France’s Ligue 1.
Arsenal topped the standings last season before battling to the final, where Mikel Arteta and his team lost on penalties to PSG. The Premier League champions dusted themselves off to grab a vital 1-0 win in Naples on Matchday 1. Martin Ødegaard scored the goal that mattered.
Lille hosted Spanish La Liga side Real Betis in its opener but slipped to a 3-2 loss. The Mastiffs led 2-1 at the break, but Ethan Mbappé was sent off soon after the restart, giving the opponent an advantage. Troy Parrott scored the winner to complete the comeback.
Lille’s second-half collapse against Betis is a serious concern, and I’m confident it will struggle in front of a sellout crowd at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal’s win over Napoli was well-deserved, but I expect a slightly more convincing performance this time.
Looking at how they performed at home in this competition last season, Arsenal scored home wins over Olympiakos, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Bayer Leverkusen, amongst others.
Add Arsenal to beat Lille in London to your midweek parlays.
Tip: Arsenal win @ -500 (FanDuel) | -375 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: Arsenal must score more goals than Lille at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.
Atletico Madrid v Man Utd, Tuesday, 14:00 ET

Two big-name European clubs collide in Madrid, as Atletico entertain Manchester United.
Head-to-head stats on the Flashscore app show Atletico Madrid and Manchester United have met four times, with the Spaniards unbeaten: two wins and two draws.
The sides last met in the 2021/22 season, when they drew 1-1 at this venue before Madrid nicked a 1-0 win at Old Trafford. Will Tuesday bring a repeat or revenge?
Gameweek 2 sees Madrid line up against an English opponent for the second time. They opened with a 2-1 defeat at Anfield, despite racing into an early lead. Llorente had his men ahead inside 17 minutes, before Szoboszlai got them even, and Mac Allister scored a sublime winner with 50 minutes on the clock.
As mentioned earlier in this article, Man Utd opened with a 4-0 win over Sabah FK, but I won't read too much into that result, given the quality of the opposition.
When I looked at the stats, one leapt off the page, and it concerns Julian Alvarez. The Argentinian forward has contributed to 23 goals in his previous 24 Champions League appearances. That kind of consistency doesn't go unnoticed by football bettors, especially at such a high level.
The traders at bet365 offer Alvarez at a handy 11/8 to score on Tuesday, but we'll take a slightly safer approach. Back Alvarez to score or assist against Manchester United at the world-famous Metropolitano Stadium.
Julian scored in a 7-0 win for Argentina over Burkina Faso, ensuring he arrives with confidence. I advise any followers to bet on this one as a single.
Tip: Alvarez to score @ +180 (FanDuel) | +180 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: If Alvarez scores at any time against Manchester United on Tuesday, you can celebrate a return.
Galatasaray v Barcelona, Tuesday, 14:00 ET

Two European giants meet as the Turkish Super Lig champions face the best team in Spain’s La Liga.
Galatasaray suffered a surprise 3-1 loss in Lisbon last time. The Turkish club enjoyed a dream start, scoring within five minutes, but went into the break tied at 1-1. A second-half penalty from Suárez put pressure on Galatasaray, before a Zalazar goal sealed its fate.
The home fans packed into Rams Park demand a stronger showing on Matchday 2, but to earn their first points, they must beat the mighty Barcelona.
The head-to-head stats show the two teams have met 10 times, with Galatasaray winning just once. Barcelona enters with six wins and three draws. On its most recent visit to this stadium, Barça won 2-1 in a 2022 Europa League match.
Following a stunning 5-1 win over Feyenoord at Camp Nou last time, Barcelona arrives in high spirits. It has recent road wins at Sevilla, Levante, Valencia, and Elche in La Liga, scoring a combined 17 goals.
The -425/-325 offered by Fan Duel and BetMGM on a home win tells us what oddsmakers expect here. I’m more than happy to follow and advise adding the road win to your parlays, including same-game parlays.
Tip: Barcelona win @ -425 (FanDuel) | -325 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: You'll make a profit if Barcelona leave Turkey with all three points.
Aston Villa v Fenerbahce, Wednesday, 14:00 ET

We’re in Birmingham as Aston Villa aims to make it two wins from two Champions League games. To secure a perfect record, Unai Emery’s team must beat Turkish Super Lig runners-up Fenerbahçe.
Villa hasn’t started the Premier League season as well as fans would have hoped. The club is much closer to the bottom of the standings than the top. The team set aside its domestic worries to battle past Club Brugge in Belgium last time, winning 3-2.
Fans hope for more of the same, but everyone connected to the home locker room would gladly accept a boring 1-0. At this stage, the points matter more than the performance.
Club captain John McGinn gave his team an early lead at Jan Breydelstadion, and the 31-year-old midfielder found the net for Scotland in an important 2-0 Nations League win over North Macedonia.
McGinn is the glue that holds this Villa team together, and the Glaswegian has proven his worth at the top level on multiple occasions. You may recall he scored a dozen goals for club and country last season, including in Europe against Bologna, Feyenoord, and Lille.
You can bet on McGinn to score on Wednesday at +380.
Tip: McGinn to score @ +380 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: You need Aston Villa's John McGinn to score against Fenerbahce on Wednesday.
Man City vs PSG, Wednesday, 14:00 ET

The main attraction of Champions League Matchday 2 comes at the home of former winners Manchester City as they take on PSG, a team chasing a third straight title.
Both clubs did as expected when opening with wins. Manchester City cruised past Porto on the road, winning 2-0 at Estádio do Dragão, thanks to a second-half double from Erling Haaland.
Defending champions PSG were heavy betting favorites to defeat Slovan Bratislava. They did it in style, scoring six goals and allowing one.
Manchester City and PSG have met eight times in competitive action, with the English club holding the lion’s share of wins. The head-to-head shows Manchester City with four wins and two draws, against two wins for the Parisians.
There’s plenty of soccer left to play this season, but Wednesday’s match is good enough to be the final, and I have no doubt it will deliver for fans.
Did you know the home team won the last four meetings? PSG beat Manchester City 4-2 in 2025, and 2-0 in 2021 at Parc des Princes. Manchester City beat PSG 2-1 and 2-0 at Etihad Stadium. Will that trend continue?
The oddsmakers at bet365 price the home team as the favorite, but with so many big-name players on show, I’m happy to avoid picking sides.
Going in search of a strong bet, I’m picking Haaland to score at -138. Why are the odds so short? When you realize the towering Norwegian goal machine has 12 goals in his last 12 Champions League appearances, the odds make sense.
Haaland scored a double in that 2-0 win over Porto, and was also on target last season against big-name visitors, including Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, and Galatasaray.
Tip: Haaland to score @ +100 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: If Haaland scores at any time against PSG on Wednesday, you can celebrate a payout.
Roma v Real Madrid, Wednesday, 14:00 ET

I sign off with an interest in Roma’s home match against the tournament’s most successful team, Real Madrid.
We place our trust in another big-name striker, taking Kylian Mbappé to score on the road at -130. Like Haaland, that’s a bet best suited to your midweek goal scorer parlays.
Opta stats show Mbappé has scored 11 goals in his last seven Champions League starts. He also had two or more shots on target in each of those matches during that hot streak.
Mbappé broke the deadlock in Madrid’s 2-1 win over Inter Milan in Spain on Matchday 1. During September, the talented Frenchman was also on target against Elche and Rayo Vallecano.
If you’re aiming for a higher payout, you may want to bet on Mbappé to score first. I’m happy to take the safety net offered by the anytime scorer market, which keeps your bet live for the entire time Real Madrid’s number 10 is on the field.
Tip: Mbappé to score @ -130 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: If Mbappé scores first, last, or anywhere in between during Real Madrid’s visit to Roma, this wager will be settled as a winner.
