The UEFA Conference League produced some highly entertaining quarter-final deciders, as none of the sides that progressed managed to prevail across both legs. Now that the last eight is behind us, here is one stat from each of the eight teams following the return legs.

Jagiellonia Bialystok 1-1 Real Betis

6 - Jagiellonia Bialystok's European journey for 2024/25 is over, but they can take pride in what they accomplished. Their eight wins this term, qualifiers included, were more than they ever managed in continental action before this. In fact, the Polish club went unbeaten in the Conference League proper at home in their maiden season, across six matches (4-2-0). Of the sides to reach the quarter-finals, only them and Fiorentina can make that claim.

14 - Real Betis are also enjoying their best ever European campaign. Los Verdiblancos were able to keep their excellent 2025 going with a draw in Poland. They are the first Spanish club to go this far in the Conference League. With this being Betis' first appearance in the semi-finals of a UEFA club competition, they have managed to achieve this feat in what is their 14th continental season.

Fiorentina 2-2 Celje

8 - Fiorentina are back in the final four of the Conference League, and are the only club in the tournament's brief history to have done so on multiple occasions. It was not a vintage performance from La Viola, but they still managed to get the job done against a stubborn Celje side. The Italian club have now progressed from all eight knockout round ties in the UECL proper. When including qualifying, that number increases to 11.

25 - Celje might just have been the story of the Conference League this term. The Slovenians pulled off some remarkable performances, culminating in the farthest a club from their country have ever gone in a UEFA club competition. They can now focus on their domestic league and cup, as they still have some work to do there. In the UECL proper, they managed to score a total of 25 goals. That is just one less than the side who eliminated them, and more than two of the semi-finalists.

Chelsea 1-2 Legia Warszawa

3 - Chelsea managed to scrape through, but ended up having to work for it. Very few would have seen them losing at Stamford Bridge on Thursday. Perhaps this shows that the competition's favourites are vulnerable after all. The Blues seem to have problems with home games at this stage in Europe, as they have lost their last three home games in a European quarter-final, at Stamford Bridge. They also lost their home leg in 2020/21 to Porto, but that was on neutral ground.

5 - Legia Warszawa put in a valiant effort in what was always going to be an uphill battle. Unfortunately for them, their Conference League journey is over. The good thing for them is that they can leave with their heads held quite high, as the victory on the night was quite an impressive one. The Poles have finally prevailed on claim on English soil, at the fifth time of asking. They were 0-2-2 in the previous four beforehand.

Rapid Wien 1-4 Djurgarden

9 - Rapid Wien will feel like a massive opportunity has passed them by, and one cannot blame them. Mamadou's Sangare's red card seven minutes in put them in a tricky situation. To their credit, they did manage to score once, but it all went downhill in the extra time period. As such, the Austrians exit with a defeat. Along with that loss was an end to their nine-game unbeaten run at home in Europe.

4 - Djurgarden managed an impressive comeback in Austria, taking advantage of what they were given. Some may argue that they made it more difficult on themselves, seeing they needed another 30 minutes. However, the Swedes can still rejoice. Winning 4-1 away in a continental quarter-final is not for everyone. In fact, Djurgarden have looked quite good on the road this term. Just like they did two seasons ago, they have prevailed in four away games in the UECL, qualifiers included. In the 2024/25 competition from the league phase on, they have gone 3-1-1.
