Jorgensen kept a clean sheet in the 4-0 win against Southampton, but during the game you could often hear the dissatisfaction from the Chelsea fans when he tried to play the ball out from the back.
Jorgensen continued to play out from the back during the match, and continued to wait for an option while the crowd jeered and booed Chelsea's patient play from the back.
Enzo Maresca said after the match that his instructions for Filip Jorgensen, who was recently chosen as No 1 goalkeeper ahead of Robert Sanchez, were clear.
“My message to Filip was: "If you play long ball, I will change you." So he was just doing what I told him to,” Maresca explained during the press conference afterwards.
"It is difficult for Filip. It was difficult for Robert when he played. I mean, it's difficult for all keepers. They just follow the plan", said Maresca.
Jorgensen is expected to be in action again during the weekend when the London-team face Leicester before the first of the two Conference League fixtures against FC Copenhagen.
