Goalkeeper

Daniel Batz (Mainz) 9.1

The standout goalkeeper over the weekend was Mainz veteran Daniel Batz, who kept a clean sheet in his side's 2-0 win over now-relegated Heidenheim in the Bundesliga.

Batz made five saves and kept out an xGOT of 2.06 in what was an impressive performance from the 35-year-old. Fittingly, it was Batz's last game for the club, as he has agreed to join Borussia Monchengladbach in the summer on a free transfer.

Defence

Gianluca Mancini (Roma) 9.1

The Derby della Capitale is always a big event on the Serie A calendar, and with Roma chasing Champions League football, that was especially the case on Sunday when they hosted Lazio.

It was a fiery affair with two straight red cards shown, but the headlines were hogged by defender Gianluca Mancini, who scored two headed goals to earn Roma a crucial 2-0 win.

Andrias Edmundsson (Verona) 9.2

It's not too often that a Faroese player makes our Team of the Week, but Verona's Andrias Edmundsson forced his way in this time with some outstanding defensive stats.

The towering centre-back was very unlucky to score an own-goal in the relegated side's 1-1 draw with Serie A champions Inter, but he more than made up for that by winning three tackles, coming out on top in seven duels and making seven clearances in the match.

Carlos Romero (Espanyol) 9.2

Moving over to Spain, where Espanyol were one of the clubs sucked into LaLiga's crazy relegation battle that involved the entire bottom half up until last weekend's penultimate round.

The Barcelona-based club got themselves out of danger thanks to a vital 2-1 win over Osasuna. The star was left-back Carlos Romero, who scored the opener to go with his four dribbles down the flank.

Midfield

Anis Hadj Moussa (Feyenoord) 9.7

Flying Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj Moussa is the highest-rated player in our team this week. The Algeria international sparkled with a second-half brace to fire the Rotterdam giants to a 2-0 win over Zwolle in the Eredivisie's final round.

It was a great way to sign off the season for the Paris-born Moussa, who led the match in touches in the opposition box, dribbles and big chances created.

Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) 9.3

Bayern wrapped up their season in style in front of their home fans with a typically ruthless 5-1 thrashing of FC Koln in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Harry Kane might have stolen the show, but Joshua Kimmich was flawless in midfield.

The German technician set up both of Kane's first-half goals, made the most successful passes in the match and led the game for touches.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Marseille) 9.2

Sunday saw the final round take place in Ligue 1, and there was plenty on the line. Marseille faced off against Rennes in what was a straight shootout for the Europa League berth, with OM coming out on top 3-1 in the high-stakes affair.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was the main man for the hosts with a goal and an assist in the win. The all-action Dane also threw himself into 13 duels throughout his 82 minutes on the pitch.

Noe Lebreton (NEC Nijmegen) 9.2

Moving back to the Netherlands, NEC Nijmegen capped off a historic season, which saw them finish third, with a 2-1 win over Go Ahead Eagles. Scoring both their goals in the victory was French attacker Noe Lebreton.

It was some way to wrap the season for Lebreton and NEC, who recorded their highest-ever Eredivisie finish and reached the Champions League qualifiers for the very first time.

Forwards

Johan Carbonero (Internacional) 9.6

Unlike the European leagues, Brazil's Serie A isn't close to finishing at all, but that didn't stop one performance in particular from catching our eye...

Internacional's Colombian forward Johan Carbonero notched an impressive rating of 9.6 thanks to a brace of goals and assists in his side's 4-1 win over Vasca da Gama in Porto Alegre.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) 9.4

Back to Bayern, and how could we leave out Harry Kane? The Englishman closed out his league season with yet another hat-trick in the thumping win over Koln.

Quite incredibly, that was Kane's fourth hat-trick of the Bundesliga season, and he finishes the campaign with 36 goals to his name from just 31 matches, and only 25 starts. Even more absurdly, he's scored 58 goals across all competitions in 2025/26. Simply, the best.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) 9.3

Just when Ollie Watkins was starting to get overlooked, he's hit a rich vein of form and, potentially, just in time to force his way into Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the World Cup.

Last Friday, he shone with two goals and an assist as the Villans crushed a lacklustre Liverpool side 4-2 to seal their spot in next season's Champions League. Next up for Watkins and the Birmingham club: this week's Europa League final!
