With winger Raul Moro likely leaving Ajax this transfer window, the Amsterdam giants have reportedly identified a trio of wingers as potential replacements from the Spaniard.

The 23-year-old Raul Moro joined Ajax from Real Valladolid for a reported fee of €10 million last summer, but hasn't impressed in Amsterdam with just one goal, against amateurs Excelsior Maassluis in the Dutch Cup, and one assists in 21 official appearances.

Ajax are now reportedly set to sell Moro to LaLiga outfit Osasuna, according to several sources.

With wingers Steven Berghuis mostly injured and Oliver Edvardsen also allowed to leave, Ajax are now shifting their focus to finding a new winger, as well as finding a new holding midfielder.

In their search for new attacking impulses, Ajax have reportedly landed on a trio of names. Girona's Yaser Asprilla looks to be the top priority, according to Voetbal International's Tim van Duijn. The 22-year-old Colombian international joined the Catalan side in 2024 from Watford, who received a fee between 18 and 24 million euros.

Asprilla hasn't been very productive at Girona, the City Group acknowledge, with the winger scoring just four goals in 50 appearances, none of which came in the current season.

Per De Telegraaf, another name on the shortlist is that of Villarreal's Ilias Akhomach, a 21-year-old Spanish-Moroccan La Masia product. Akhomach joined Villarreal in 2023, but, like Asprilla at Girona, has lacked efficiency with just 3 goals and 2 assists in 51 LaLiga games.

Aston Villa's Leon Bailey, whose loan spell AS Roma will reportedly end this week, is the third and final name on the list. Bailey has been an Ajax target in the past, most prominently during his time at RC Genk between 2015 and 2017.

The Jamaican winger has enjoyed a rather fruitless loan spell in Rome, failing to score and providing two assists in just 11 appearances across all competitions.

Ajax recently appointed former Barcelona executive Jordi Cruyff as the club's new technical director. Cruyff, the son of Ajax legend Johan Cruyff, will not start his new job until February 1st, however.
