Fulham took the initiative at the London Stadium and passed the ball around West Ham with ease in the early stages of the game.
Harry Wilson was at the heart of everything good that the Cottagers were doing, and it was his shot that had Alphonse Areola at full stretch to keep out a goal-bound effort.
The Hammers wouldn’t get a shot on target until the 15th minute when Jarrod Bowen escaped his marker, only to see Bernd Leno parry the attempt away for a corner.
Much of the match was being played in a congested midfield, and as a result, both teams cancelled each other out.

Magassa’s purposeful run and cross found Bowen just after the hour, but his flicked effort went agonisingly wide of the upright.
West Ham substitute Callum Wilson fired wide as the Irons looked to exert more pressure on the visitors, and then sent another effort over when well placed just a few minutes later.
Fulham pushed harder in the latter stages after extended possession, and their pressure paid off with five minutes to play as Raul Jimenez powered home a Harry Wilson cross.
The result means that West Ham remain rooted in the bottom three and stay five points from safety, whilst Fulham - who have either won or lost their last seven league games by one goal - leap up to 10th position.
