Having recently launched the Danish version, Flashscore.dk will every Monday provide you with a summary of the performances of Danish footballers across Europe to keep you fully updated on who is the talk of the day and who isn´t.

17-year old Chido Obi-Martin sensationally made his debut against Tottenham Hotspur for Manchester United after having impressed for the Under-18 side which prompted Ruben Amorim to select him for the senior squad after he trained with the first team during the week. Rasmus Højlund and Patrick Dorgu was also in the starting line-up but while Dorgu was mediocre at best, Højlund against struggled to find his game.

Joachim Andersen starred as one of the key defenders for Fulham to keep the potent Nottingham Forest strikers from harvesting further glory at Craven Cottage as Fulham took a well-deserved 2-1 win while Christian Nørgaard and Mikkel Damsgaard also received high praise for their performances as Brentford recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win away against West Ham.

Albert Gronbaek and William Osula featured in Southampton’s and Newcastle’s matchis against Bournemouth and Manchester City but none of them were called into action. Filip Jorgensen who has been chosen as first-choice keeper at Chelsea had a night to forget when the London side lost 3-0 away at Brighton on Friday night.

Danes generally don’t have a great history of showing their best football in the French Ligue 1. But perhaps Mika Biereth will be a an exception to that rule. Biereth left Sturm Graz to sign for AS Monaco in the transfer window and the young Danish striker has had a sensational start to his life in the Principality as he recorded his second hat-trick in three matches in the 7-1 win against Nantes.

Utrecht is talk of the town in the Dutch Eresdivie where they currently sit in a very surprising third spot behind Ajax and PSV Eindhoven. Utrecht underlined that they are a force to be reckoned with when they held PSV to a 2-2 draw in Eindhoven where Oscar Fraulo, on loan from Monchengladbach, provided a fine assist for Paxten Aaronson to make it 2-1 after 75 minutes of play.

In Italy Lazio’s Gustav Isaksen just loves to play against Lazio. He recently gave the Roman side a very surprising 1-0 win against the Serie A league leaders in the Diego Maradona Stadium. And he continued to show his goal instincts against Antonio Conte’s side at the Stadio Olimpico when he launched a stinging drive into the top left hand corner to give Lazio a lead after just six minutes on Saturday night. The game finished 2-2.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg tops a number of statistics in the French Ligue 1 in terms of touches on the ball and successful passes, and the Danish international defensive midfielder again received high marks for his performance in the 5-1 win against Saint-Etienne which allowed Marseille to preserve their second-spot position in the Ligue 1.

Finally there were mixed fortunes for Conrad Harder and Morten Hjulmand at Sporting Lissabon who were surprisingly held to a 2-2 draw at home to Arouca. Harder again was on target for Sporting to restore parity after 17 minutes and later also provided an assist for Trincao’s equalizer after 74 minutes. But Morten Hjulmand were sent off for a second bookable offence after 62 minutes and were followingly criticized by coach Rui Borges for his mistimed action.
