Everton vs Coventry, Friday, 03:00 PM ET

We enjoy Friday soccer from Bramley-Moore Dock.
Everton holds the home advantage over Coventry City, knowing a victory and all three points could drive it into the top four. Three wins, four draws, and two losses have the Toffees in seventh place with 13 points.
Coventry arrives in 16th, just two points above Crystal Palace and the relegation zone. A road win could lift the Sky Blues into the top half of the standings.
Friday marks the first meeting of these famous English clubs since 2001, but which team will mark the occasion with a win?
I’m backing Everton.
Everton has played six home games in all competitions so far this season, claiming four wins, one draw, and one loss. Chelsea is the only team to beat them at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Pedro Neto scoring twice last month.
The stats show that each of Everton’s last five league wins have been shutouts, including all three this season. They now face a Coventry City team that has managed just 97 shots in its nine previous league games. Only Hull City and Crystal Palace have attempted fewer.
Coventry has played four away league games this term, beating only Nottingham Forest. They edged the Tricky Trees 1-0, but lost 3-0 at Arsenal, 1-0 at Man City, and 3-1 when visiting Tottenham Hotspur.
Keep things simple and back Everton to pick up a third straight win. Add the Toffees to your weekend parlays.
Pick: Everton win @ -145 (FanDuel) | -160 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: If Everton beats Coventry City on Friday evening, you’ll beat the sportsbooks and secure a profit.
Leeds United vs Tottenham, Saturday, 07:30 AM ET

Leeds United welcomes Tottenham in the early Saturday kickoff at Elland Road.
Head coach Daniel Farke’s team is winless in its previous five league games, losing two and drawing the other three. The home team is at a crossroads, four points above the relegation zone and four behind Liverpool in fifth.
Tottenham endured a horrible start to the season but appears to have found its footing and is heading in the right direction.
Spurs are up to ninth, thanks to a four-match unbeaten run and three wins in their previous three games. A fourth victory would catapult them toward the top spots.
Tottenham has lost just one of its last 13 meetings with Saturday’s opponent, winning 10 and drawing the other two. The Londoners have also won four of their previous five visits to Elland Road, collecting the last nine points available.
Tottenham beat Leeds 4-0 here before picking up 4-1 and 2-1 wins.
Not long ago, I wouldn’t have backed Spurs with a free bet, but they seem to have turned the corner and are finally working as a team.
The stats and form suggest a road win, and I’m happy to follow at fair odds.
Pick: Tottenham win @ +170 (FanDuel) | +150 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: Tottenham to win is a higher price than I expected, making it a simple pick. If they win again at Elland Road, you’ll make a profit.
Arsenal vs Hull, Saturday, 10:00 AM ET

The pick of the Saturday 10:00 a.m. ET starts comes from Emirates Stadium, as Premier League champions and current leaders Arsenal host Hull City.
The Gunners have eight wins against one loss so far, taking the maximum 12 points from their last four games. With 14 goals scored and five allowed, they have the best defense in the competition after nine rounds.
Hull City was promoted from the Championship last season and started life back in the top flight rather well. The Tigers couldn’t keep it up, and they travel to London with four draws and two losses in their last six. They’ve scored 11 goals but allowed 10.
Arsenal is on an impressive seven-match winning streak at Emirates Stadium. The club has also won 18 of its previous 19 games against promoted teams, drawing the other.
I expect Arsenal to continue its winning ways at home, and I have no issues adding the home team to my weekend parlays, including Arsenal vs. Hull City same-game parlays.
The -750/-650 available on the FanDuel/BetMGM isn’t ideal, so I’ll take Arsenal to win with a clean sheet at -142/-150 with FanDuel/BetMGM.
Pick: Arsenal win to nil @ -142 (FanDuel) | -150 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: Arsenal must defeat Hull City in London without allowing a goal.
Nottingham Forest vs Man City, Saturday, 12:30 PM ET

Saturday afternoon's viewing is sorted as Nottingham Forest attempts to inflict a third straight league loss on visiting Manchester City.
The Tricky Trees start the matchweek with only a sorry Sunderland below them in the standings. Forest is winless in its last five league games, losing four and drawing one. It was beaten 2-0 at Brentford Community Stadium last time.
Manchester City suffered back-to-back league losses, falling 2-1 at Villa Park and 1-0 at home to Brighton seven days ago. The club remains in second place, but it’s three points behind leaders Arsenal and two ahead of third-place Brighton.
A meeting with a relegation-threatened team comes at the perfect time for Manchester City. It must return to winning ways and has a great chance of doing just that.
FanDuel and BetGM offer an away win at -145/-150, and that will do a fantastic job in your parlays. I expect it to be popular.
The head-to-head stats available on the Flashscore app show that Nottingham Forest has won only one of its last nine meetings with Manchester City. That victory came back in the 2024/25 season.
There’s one final thing to consider.
Forest is winless in its last six Premier League home games and has failed to score in the last four. Manchester City will have little trouble getting back on track.
Pick: Man City win @ -145 (FanDuel) | -150 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: Man City must outscore Nottingham Forest at the City Ground to win this bet.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, Sunday, 09:00 AM ET

I preview three games played on Sunday, starting at Selhurst Park in London.
Crystal Palace is third from the bottom of the standings after three straight losses. The Eagles lost 5-0 at Brighton, 2-0 at home to Newcastle, and by the same score at Tottenham in a London derby late last month.
Liverpool started Matchweek 10 in fifth place, with four wins, three draws, and two losses this season. The Reds recently beat Brentford 2-1 in London and Brighton 2-0 at Anfield, but lost 1-0 at home to Arsenal on the opening day of November.
Head coach Andoni Iraola has led his Liverpool team to victory in each of its last three Premier League road games, and sportsbooks have the Reds as favorites to make it four.
Opta Stats show the Spanish head coach is unbeaten in all 13 of his Premier League road games this year, with his most recent loss coming at Brentford last December.
Checking the updated head-to-head stats at Flashscore, I noticed that the Reds beat the Eagles 3-1 when the teams last met, thanks to goals from Isak, Robertson, and Wirtz.
Liverpool played Fenerbahçe in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, and Palace hosted Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday. There will be a few tired legs in both camps, but an extra day to recover and a stronger roster will give Liverpool an edge.
Pick: Liverpool win @ -190 (FanDuel) | -175 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: The margin of victory and goalscorers aren't important here. All you're interested in is Liverpool beating Crystal Palace and taking all three points back to Anfield on Sunday evening.
Sunderland vs Chelsea, Sunday, 09:00 AM ET

Last-place Sunderland aims for just its second win of a difficult season. The only problem for the Black Cats is that they must defeat Chelsea to get back on track.
Sunderland is rooted to the bottom of the standings, with one win, two draws, and six losses. The team has scored seven goals and allowed 17. One point gained from the last 18 available suggests a turnaround in fortunes isn’t due anytime soon.
Chelsea has been far from convincing so far under head coach Xabi Alonso, with five wins, one draw, and three losses. The Blues are fourth in the standings, thanks to three wins in four, but remain one point ahead of Liverpool in fifth and eight behind leaders Arsenal.
The visitors played four league games last month, thrashing Bournemouth 5-1 and beating Everton 2-0. They suffered a surprise 2-0 home loss to Spurs but responded by beating Manchester United by the same score.
Let’s check on Sunderland’s results from October. At home, the Black Cats lost 2-0 to Brighton and played to a scoreless tie with Leeds United. On the road, they lost 2-0 at Bournemouth and 3-1 at Coventry City.
I expect Chelsea to win here, and the odds make it a good bet. You’ll get -105/+100 on the road win with FanDuel/BetMGM. For your wager, you’re getting the team with the most shots on target so far this season at 53. They line up against the bottom team in the standings, which has a -10 goal difference, with only Crystal Palace worse off at -12.
In the last nine rounds, Sunderland has scored an average of 0.77 goals per game and allowed 1.88. In the same span, Chelsea has scored 2.11 goals per game and allowed 1.66.
Back Chelsea’s big-name attackers to fire the team to a sixth win of the season, and fourth in five games.
Pick: Chelsea win @ -105 (FanDuel) | +100 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: You'll get solid odds on Chelsea scoring more goals than a Sunderland team that's bottom of the league and on a losing streak.
Man Utd vs Aston Villa, Sunday, 11:30 AM ET

I’ll round things off with a prediction on the top-of-the-bill heavyweight matchup between Manchester United and Aston Villa.
The head-to-head stats show that Manchester United has lost just two of its last 31 Premier League home matches against Aston Villa. But we must dig much deeper.
The Red Devils are winless in seven league matches, drawing four and losing three. That’s their worst stretch since April 2025.
More research shows that Manchester United is one of only two teams in the top flight of English soccer without a clean sheet, with Ipswich the other.
Starting one place above the relegation zone, ahead of Crystal Palace and the bottom three on goal difference alone, Manchester United allowed seven goals in four league games. The club leaked 13 in six games in all competitions, with four coming in the Premier League and two in the Champions League.
Aston Villa has won each of its last two Premier League road games, beating Newcastle 1-0 and Tottenham 3-2.
In October, head coach Unai Emery’s team thumped Fenerbahçe 6-0 and Viking 3-1 in the Champions League. They also edged Manchester City 2-1 in the Premier League.
Pick: Aston Villa win @ +210 (FanDuel) | +195 (BetMGM)
Bet explanation: Villa doesn’t win many games at Old Trafford, but the odds are good, and the home team’s poor form makes Villa worth a bet.
These odds, correct at the time of publication, are subject to change.
