Arsenal vs Leeds United, Saturday, 07:30 AM ET

We're in North London for a showdown that'll draw a global audience. Premier League champions Arsenal welcome Leeds United, with both clubs sitting in the top five after five rounds of matches.

Arsenal starts second in the standings, with four wins and one loss.

Its 12 points put the Gunners three behind Manchester City and its perfect record. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta must pick his team up off the mat following a bruising 3-0 loss at Brighton before the international break.

The Arsenal coaching staff has had three weeks to break down that performance and understands the importance of getting back to winning ways at the earliest opportunity.

Leeds United sits three places lower in the standings than its hosts, with three fewer points. A surprise win in London would see head coach Daniel Farke's team leapfrog its opponent into second place. No further motivation is required.

All the pressure is on the home team here, but I expect Arsenal to show its quality and pick up a fifth win in six games. The stats back that up.

The head-to-head shows that Arsenal is unbeaten in its last 10 meetings with Saturday's opponent, winning nine and drawing the other. The Gunners have a perfect seven-game winning streak over Leeds, and that'll stretch to eight.

Leeds has lost each of its last five visits to Arsenal. To make matters worse, it has allowed four or more goals in four of those five visits.

One final thing worth considering when making your picks: Arteta carries a perfect record against Farke, his best record against any manager in the league.

Tip: Arsenal win @ -300 (FanDuel) | -285 (BetMGM)

Bet explanation: If Arsenal beats Leeds United, you'll beat the sportsbooks.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth, Saturday, 10:00 AM ET

Moving to my pick from the 10:00 a.m. slate, and we stay in London for Chelsea vs. Bournemouth.

It hasn't been the start Xabi Alonso and his coaching staff had hoped for, with the Blues down in 10th place following two wins, a draw, and two losses. They're winless in three, putting pressure on the home team to collect maximum points heading into a busy stretch.

If things are bad at Stamford Bridge, they're even worse at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth returns to action tied for the points level with the relegation zone. The Cherries are without a win, with three draws and two losses.

If Chelsea fans could've picked any opponent for a must-win match, it would've been Bournemouth. The Blues are unbeaten in nine games against Saturday's opponent.

Bournemouth's five-game winless start to the season is its worst since 2023, when it also opened with three draws and two losses. What'll worry Bournemouth head coach Marco Rose most is the eight goals allowed, matching bottom club Tottenham and second-to-last Fulham.

With Bournemouth scoring six and allowing eight, and Chelsea scoring 10 and allowing 12, you may want to consider a both-teams-to-score bet.

I prefer to keep it simple and back Chelsea on the moneyline. That'll do a job in your weekend parlays.

Tip: Chelsea win@ -160 (FanDuel) | -160 (BetMGM)

Bet explanation: You need Chelsea to outscore Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Saturday morning in front of a sellout crowd.

Man Utd vs Tottenham, Saturday, 12:30 ET

Saturday afternoon and you'll want to tune in early, as Manchester United vs. Tottenham will catch fire from the opening whistle.

Neither big-name club has exactly lit the league on fire so far, with United in 12th place and Spurs in last. There's still a lot of soccer left to play this season, but the winner will breathe life into its campaign, and the loser will be left licking its wounds.

The Londoners need a win, but they have a dismal record at the Theatre of Dreams. Did you know Spurs have lost 25 times at this venue, the second-worst road record of any Premier League club, behind Everton's 26 losses at Arsenal?

Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi couldn't have asked for a worse start to his tenure. Oddsmakers at the top U.S. sportsbooks don't expect that to change anytime soon, pricing the home win as a -160 favorite against Tottenham at +350.

These teams last met at Old Trafford in February of this year. That game produced a convincing 2-0 win for the home team. I expect a more competitive match this time, but I'm sticking with a home win.

Tip: Man Utd win @ -165 (FanDuel) | -160 (BetMGM)

Bet explanation: You want to see Manchester United make home-field advantage count and beat Tottenham for the second time in 2026.

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest, Sunday, 09:00 BST

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest
Crystal Palace vs Nottingham ForestFlashscore

The first Super Sunday slate since September 20 brings a three-match schedule, and we open in London, where Crystal Palace takes on Nottingham Forest.

The latest head-to-head numbers available on the Flashscore app show that the Eagles and the Tricky Trees met twice in each of the previous four seasons. During that stretch, Forest claimed four wins, while the other four meetings ended in draws.

Palace last beat Forest all the way back in December 2011. That's surprising, but worth keeping in mind when making your picks.

As my regular readers know, I love the stats and trends, so I couldn't help but notice that each of the last three Palace vs. Forest matches ended in 1-1 draws, as did six of the last 10. I certainly wouldn't discourage a small bet on the 1-1 correct score at +500 .

Focusing on games at Selhurst Park, each of the last five has ended in a draw, with four 1-1 scorelines. Before the break, Crystal Palace lost 3-2 at home to Ipswich, and Forest won 2-1 at Villa Park in its most recent road game.

Tip: 1-1 correct score @ +500(FanDuel) | +500 (BetMGM)

Bet explanation: The final score must be Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham Forest.

Hull City v Everton, Sunday, 09:00 AM ET

Hull City v Everton

Also kicking off at 9:00 a.m. ET on Sunday is Hull City vs. Everton at the MKM Stadium, a match you can follow on TV and legal live streams.

The Tigers made an overdue return to the Premier League by winning the playoffs last season, despite finishing sixth in the Championship. They've settled back into life in the top flight surprisingly well and open the weekend in eighth place.

Hull head coach Sergej Jakirović's squad exploded out of the gate, taking six points from its opening two games. The team then went unbeaten in four, drawing the next two. Despite that impressive opening stretch, Hull entered the international break with a 2-1 loss at St. James' Park.

Life is good at Everton under David Moyes, and the club is back in the mix for the top spots. Two wins and three draws mean the Toffees are one of only five teams yet to taste defeat. The visitors beat Crystal Palace 2-0, then drew with Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Tottenham. They then entered the break with a 1-0 home win over Ipswich Town.

The stat that caught my eye is that Hull is the only team in the Premier League that hasn't allowed a goal at home. In Everton's road games, the Toffees drew 1-1 at Bournemouth and 0-0 at Tottenham.

It's also worth keeping in mind that Everton has won just two of its last 15 Premier League road games against newly promoted teams, with eight draws and five losses. That run dates back to the summer of 2021.

With Everton winless in its last seven Premier League road games, I gave careful consideration to backing Hull or draw on the double chance market at bet365, but I've found a better angle.

Under 3.5 goals was a winning bet in each of Hull's two home matches since its Premier League return. The same bet cashed in four of its five games this season, with the exception a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Under 3.5 goals was a winner in each of Everton's two road games. It was also the right call in four of five league games. The Toffees drew 2-2 at home with Manchester United in the exception.

Follow the numbers and bet on Hull vs. Everton to produce fewer than four combined goals.

Tip: Under 3.5 goals @ -350(FanDuel) | -350 (BetMGM)

Bet explanation: The winning team isn't important with this bet. You need Hull and Everton to combine for fewer than four goals.

Liverpool vs Man City, Sunday, 11:30 ET

Liverpool vs Man City
Liverpool vs Man CityFlashscore

The Premier League schedule saves the best for last, with Liverpool hosting Manchester City at Anfield. A sellout crowd will be joined by millions worldwide watching on TV and official streams.

Which of these big-name teams will boost its title chances with a crucial win? When I dove into the numbers, I made some interesting discoveries.

Manchester City didn't win the league last season — Arsenal took the title — but City did beat Liverpool both home and away. Those results, a 3-0 win at the Etihad Stadium and a 2-1 win at this iconic venue, mean the Cityzens have lost just once in their last three visits here. Another win for the team currently atop the standings would be a real statement.

Liverpool head coach Enzo Maresca is only just getting started, but he's led his team to five wins and 15 points, scoring 13 goals and allowing five. That makes Liverpool the second-highest scorers behind Brighton's 16 goals. The experienced Italian also has a shot at making history.

Manchester City is aiming for back-to-back league wins over Liverpool at Anfield for the first time since 1953. That's remarkable, but there's more.

Maresca could become only the fourth head coach to win his first six Premier League games. Doing so would put him in elite company alongside Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, and Ole Gunnar Solskjær at Manchester United.

Back to the present: two of Liverpool's five games have been at Anfield, and both ended in draws. The Reds, now led by Andoni Iraola, drew 2-2 when Nottingham Forest visited and 0-0 when hosting Fulham.

Liverpool fans understand the importance of patience with a new head coach, but they won't be thrilled about zero wins in three. The team's success this season will hinge on making Anfield a fortress again.

Pace-setters Manchester City have played at Selhurst Park and Old Trafford, thrashing Crystal Palace 4-1 at the end of August before edging the Manchester Derby 1-0 last month. You may remember that Erling Haaland scored the game-winning goal at Old Trafford.

Manchester City hasn't put a foot wrong so far and has settled into life under its new head coach better than Liverpool has. That encourages me to back the road team.

Tip: Man City or draw @ -210(FanDuel) | -210 (BetMGM)

Bet explanation: You have a two-in-three chance of beating the sportsbooks and making a profit with this bet. Either a road win or a draw will boost your bankroll.
