The latest round of Premier League fixtures have passed alongside a busy transfer deadline day, which means it's time to take a look at the best performers from the weekend in our latest Team of the Week.

Nottingham Forest recorded the biggest win of the season so far with an emphatic 7-0 thrashing of Brighton while Manchester United flattered to deceive once more after losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace.

Elsewhere, Arsenal got one over on rivals Manchester City with a shock 5-1 victory and Everton put four past a lacklustre Leicester side.

As always, it's time to select our Premier League Team of the Week - based on our dedicated player ratings system.

GK - Matz Sels, 7.5 (Nottingham Forest)

Naturally, several Nottingham Forest players feature in this week's side after their resounding 7-0 win against Brighton.

The first of which is goalkeeper Matz Sels, who made five stops including one 'save of the season' contender to tip Danny Welbeck's curling effort onto the crossbar.

Sels has perhaps been the Premier League's best goalkeeper this season and continued his fine form with another clean sheet on Saturday.

DEF - Neco Williams, 8.4 (Nottingham Forest)

Neco Williams also enjoyed a positive afternoon during Forest's win over Brighton and even got on the scoresheet with a well-placed finish from close range.

The Welshman was also reliable defensively and made six tackles, three clearances and one interception - playing his role perfectly in what was an excellent team showing.

DEF - Chris Richards, 8.1 (Crystal Palace)

Crystal Palace continued their good form with a dramatic 2-0 win away to Manchester United, with Chris Richards one of the Eagles' top performers.

The defender was imperious at the back and helped to ensure United couldn't make a breakthrough with 10 clearances, five tackles, two interceptions and one block.

His 8.1 rating was the joint highest in the match, alongside one of his fellow defensive partners.

DEF - Maxence Lacroix, 8.1 (Crystal Palace)

Maxence Lacroix was another of Palace's top-rated players after the win against United after a superb defensive contribution.

Like Richards, the Frenchman was a stalwart in the Eagles' defence and made a staggering 11 clearances, four interceptions and three tackles.

DEF - Djed Spence, 8.1 (Tottenham Hotspur)

One of the only positives to come from Spurs' recent drop in form is the emergence of Djed Spence as a serious first-team player.

The 24-year-old continued his good form with a top performance in his side's 2-0 win against Brentford.

Spence contributed in both defence and attack while also being able to keep the dangerous Bryan Mbeumo relatively quiet throughout the encounter.

MID - James Garner, 8.1 (Everton)

Everton enjoyed a surprise 4-0 win against fellow strugglers Leicester on Saturday with James Garner one of the Toffees' best performers.

Garner dominated for the majority of the match and was one of Everton's main creative threats with two big chances made and three key passes.

The Englishman even grabbed an assist after playing an inch-perfect through ball for Beto to latch on to before converting beyond the goalkeeper.

MID - Thomas Partey, 8.0 (Arsenal)

Thomas Partey helped Arsenal to a resounding 5-1 win against Manchester City on Sunday.

The Ghanaian scored after his long-range effort took a generous deflection, but he also put in a huge shift defensively - winning six duels while also making five tackles and two interceptions.

MID - Morgan Gibbs-White, 8.6 (Nottingham Forest)

Our third out of four Forest players, Morgan Gibbs-White was one of the driving forces behind his side's 7-0 triumph over Brighton.

Gibbs-White had a huge influence during the first half in particular, sending in a cross that was turned into the Brighton net via an unlucky touch from Lewis Dunk before heading home from a corner just a few minutes later.

The Englishman also won a penalty during the second period of the match before eventually being substituted with the game essentially done after 72 minutes.

FWD - Mohamed Salah, 8.8 (Liverpool)

Another weekend has gone by where Mohamed Salah has been one of the Premier League's best performers - this time scoring twice in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Bournemouth.

His first came from a dubious penalty decision but the second was a fantastic curling effort, sealing all three points in style for the league leaders.

Salah now has 21 goals for the season so far - making him the outright top scorer in the entire division.

FWD - Chris Wood,  9.1 (Nottingham Forest)

One of the Premier League's surprise successes this season has been veteran striker Chris Wood, who continued his excellent campaign with a hat-trick in Forest's 7-0 win against Brighton.

The striker first headed home from close range before converting again from a few yards out during the second half and then sealing his treble from the spot just moments later.

Wood now has 17 goals for the season and his 9.1 rating was the highest from any match across the weekend - making Wood our Player of the Week!

FWD - Iliman Ndiaye, 8.1 (Everton)

Rounding off our Premier League Team of the Week is Everton's Iliman Ndiaye, who netted the final goal in the Toffees' 4-0 win over Leicester.

Ndiaye now has six league goals for the season - double that of any other Everton player - and is consistently proving himself to be one of the better young talents in the division.
