Premier League clubs are monitoring Slavia manager Jindrich Trpisovsky, Jean-Philippe Mateta is still attracting top European clubs, and Daniele De Rossi has been hired by Genoa. These are some of the biggest stories over the last few days on the transfer market, courtesy of Tribal Football's resident expert Rudy Galetti.

Como, Bayer and other European clubs watching Amaimouni-Echghouyab

Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab is emerging as one of the brightest young prospects in German football. The 20-year-old winger, born in November 2004, has been a key player for Hoffenheim II this season, recording seven goals and three assists in 13 matches - numbers that underline both his consistency and attacking quality.

Of Moroccan origin but holding a Spanish passport, Amaimouni is now the focus of growing international attention. The Spanish Football Federation is keeping a close eye on him, hoping to convince the player to represent Spain instead of Morocco at the senior level.

On the club front, several European teams have started to follow him closely. Como, from Italy, has been particularly active, while Bayer Leverkusen and Club Brugge have also gathered detailed information about his situation and potential availability.

Amaimouni’s current deal with Hoffenheim II runs until June 2026, but given his rapid development and growing list of admirers, the possibility of a move during the January transfer window cannot be excluded. For now, the young winger remains fully focused on Hoffenheim, yet many believe it is only a matter of time before he takes the next big step in his career.

Premier League clubs monitoring Slavia coach Trpisovsky

Premier League clubs are keeping a close eye on Jindrich Trpisovsky, the highly respected coach of Slavia Prague, who has become one of the main ambassadors of modern 'total football' in Europe. Currently leading the Czech First League, Trpisovsky has built a team known for its intensity, discipline, and full-pitch man-to-man pressing.

His tactical approach, based on constant movement and high energy, allows Slavia to control possession, close spaces, and maintain one of the strongest defensive records in the league. Trpisovsky introduced this style years ago at Slovan Liberec, but with Slavia Prague, he has taken it to another level. His sides are admired for their collective effort, fast transitions, and ability to play bravely against bigger opponents in European competitions.

With his contract set to expire at the end of the season, several Premier League clubs have started collecting information about the 49-year-old coach. They see in him a manager capable of combining modern tactics with clear identity and team spirit - qualities increasingly sought after at the top level.

As Slavia Prague continue to lead the domestic table, Trpisovsky’s name is expected to attract even more attention in the coming months, confirming his status as one of Europe’s most innovative and respected coaches.

Sporting considering a permanent deal for Rayan Lucas

Sporting CP are seriously evaluating the possibility of signing Rayan Lucas on a permanent deal after the young Brazilian’s strong start in Portugal. The 20-year-old midfielder, currently on loan from Flamengo, made his debut a few weeks ago in the 5-1 League Cup victory over Alverca, impressing fans and coaches with his confidence and creativity on the ball.

Since joining Sporting in the summer, Rayan has quickly adapted to the team’s rhythm, earning praise for his technical quality, speed, and maturity despite his young age. His performances in training have strengthened the club’s belief that he could be an important player for the future.

Sporting’s management are now considering activating the €4 million buy option included in the loan agreement with Flamengo. A final decision could come soon, depending on his progress and playing time in the next matches.

Rayan’s talent has also drawn attention from other European clubs, who have been following his development closely. Having recently represented Brazil at the U20 World Cup, Rayan Lucas is seen as one of the brightest prospects from Flamengo’s academy - and his successful start at Sporting suggests that his European adventure is only just beginning.

De Rossi starts his Genoa journey with ambition

Daniele De Rossi has officially begun his new chapter as head coach of Genoa, a move driven by passion, conviction, and a deep respect for the club’s history. The former Italy captain chose Genoa because of its authentic football culture, loyal fan base, and the unique energy of the Luigi Ferraris Stadium, which he has always admired. De Rossi pushed hard to make this opportunity a reality.

He sees strong potential in the current squad and believes that, with unity and intensity, Genoa can climb the Serie A table. His decision was not based on financial or personal gain, but on a genuine connection with the club’s spirit and ambition. In his debut match, Genoa earned a 2-2 draw against Fiorentina, showing fight and character - even though De Rossi was not physically on the bench due to a suspension carried over from last season.

The result already reflects his influence and the renewed belief inside the team. De Rossi has signed a six-month deal, automatically extending for another year if Genoa stay in Serie A, a symbol of mutual trust and shared purpose. For Genoa and De Rossi, this marks the start of a hopeful new era, powered by passion, resilience, and faith in the Rossoblu identity.

Mateta shines for France and attracts Europe’s elite

Jean-Philippe Mateta is enjoying one of the best moments of his career. The Crystal Palace striker has not only become a key player in the Premier League but is now earning recognition with the French national team. After scoring on his debut as a starter against Iceland, the 28-year-old has been called up again by Didier Deschamps for the upcoming matches against Ukraine and Azerbaijan - a clear sign of his growing status.

Back in England, Mateta’s form has been excellent, with six goals in his first 10 matches this season. His contract with Palace runs until June 2027, yet his performances have put him on the radar of several top European clubs.

During the summer, AC Milan, Inter, and Atalanta followed him closely from Italy, while Newcastle, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham showed interest in England. Abroad, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich have also expressed admiration for his style.

Despite all the attention, Mateta decided to stay at Palace, believing in the club’s project and wanting to prove himself as a top striker in the Premier League. However, some of the clubs on his tracks continue to keep an eye on him, aware that Mateta is currently a player in form, full of confidence, and finally earning the spotlight he deserves, one to watch ahead of next summer!
