Inter Milan's Piotr Zielinski produced a moment of sheer quality, while it was the total opposite for Tottenham and Thomas Frank as they went down without much of a fight against rivals Chelsea.

Here, Flashscore picks out the biggest winners and losers from this weekend's football action.

Winner: Willa Pearson

What were you doing when you were 14? Sydney FC's Willa Pearson certainly won't forget as she created A-League history.

Aged just 14 years and 312 days old, the defender became the youngest player to appear in a women's or men's A-League match after making her debut in Sydney's 2-2 draw with Melbourne City.

She more than held her own despite having to marshal Melbourne star Holly McNamara, who was last season's top scorer in the division.

Pearson played the full 90 minutes as she eclipsed the previous record held by Ischia Brooking (14 years and 347 days old) with Western Sydney Wanderers in 2023.

Losers: Tottenham

Some more record-breaking, but not the good kind, was made by Tottenham in their anaemic 1-0 defeat at home to Chelsea.

Spurs barely laid a glove on their foes from west London, taking a paltry three shots in the match for a club record low 0.11 Expected Goals (xG).

Thomas Frank's side were booed off the pitch at both half and full-time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the disgruntlement didn't end there.

The Spurs boss appeared to be ignored by stand-in captain Micky van de Ven and Djed Spence as they trudged past him off the pitch and down the tunnel.

Winner: Piotr Zielinski

Serie A may already have its Goal of the Season, with Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski submitting a serious contender during their 2-1 win at Hellas Verona.

From a corner, Hakan Calhanoglu drilled a super pass out to the Poland international, who was lurking on the edge of the penalty area.

Without a thought of bringing the ball down, Zielinski took it flush on the volley and side-footed it emphatically into the net.

It cannoned off his foot, but the technique used to keep it under control deserves some proper appreciation.

Loser: Vitor Pereira

Long gone are the days of Vitor Pereira celebrating wins alongside Wolves supporters in local pubs, with the Portuguese the latest managerial casualty.

Despite signing a three-year contract extension just one month ago, Pereira was sacked after a 3-0 defeat by Fulham, which extended Wolves' winless start to 10 Premier League games.

The 57-year-old guided Wolves to comfortable safety from relegation last season, but results have since nosedived as they sit rock bottom of the table with two points.

Unrest grew over a week ago when Pereira was caught in a heated row with fans at Molineux following a brutal 3-2 loss to promoted Burnley.

Winners: Heracles

Heracles in the Netherlands made a managerial change of their own and are already starting to see it pay dividends.

After replacing Bas Sibum as the manager, interim boss Hendrie Kruzen oversaw an 8-2 thumping of fellow Eredivisie strugglers PEC Zwolle.

Striker Jizz Hornkamp tallied a 14-minute hat-trick in the first half of the romp, but the overall numbers are staggering.

In just this one match, Heracles scored more goals than the seven they totalled in 10 league games prior under the now dismissed Sibum.

Loser: Mehdi Balouk

While we have a stunning goal in here, we also have one of the worst misses you'll see all season – or possibly ever – from Mehdi Balouk in Morocco.

During Yacoub El Mansour's eventual 2-0 win over Renaissance Zemamra, Balouk was gifted a golden opportunity to score when the goalkeeper fumbled an effort.

The ball had actually been heading goal-bound on its own and all Balouk had to do was help it over the line, but instead was a little overzealous.

From literally one yard out, he used every bit of power he had and somehow ended up smacking the post with the ball rebounding away.

It is a miss so bad that you would be forgiven for thinking it is fake.
