AGF continued their emphatic string of wins on Matchday 10 with a hard-fought 2-1 win against FC Nordsjaelland, while Alexander Zorniger had a difficult return to Brondby as OB were handed a 5-1 defeat. Silkeborg and Vejle cancelled out each other's efforts in a 1-1 draw, while Viborg FF moved into 6th place with a 2-1 home win against Fredericia.

Despite being one goal behind with twelve minutes to go, AGF managed to record their seventh successive win, when they won 2-1 away against FC Nordsjaelland to reclaim top spot in the Danish Superliga, three points ahead of FC Copenhagen.

The artificial turf in Farum is feared by many teams, but AGF generally dominated possession in a game with few chances until the 70th minute, when things really kicked off.

AGF's Norwegian playmaker, Kristian Arnstad, was brought down in the box by Mark Brink, but Andreas Hansen saved Arnstad's otherwise strong penalty kick to keep the home side in the game.

The home side then seemed headed towards bringing AGF's impressive streak to an end when Alexander Lind headed home a cross from Nicklas Rojkjaer twelve minutes from the end.

But just three minutes later, Swedish wingback Felix Beijmo found the net with a stunning half-volley, and five minutes from the end, AGF completed a dramatic turnaround when Magnus Solbakken bundled a deflected cross from Gift Links over the line.

German coach Alexander Zorniger on Sunday returned to Brondby Stadium for the first time since he was in charge of the Copenhagen club from 2016 to 2019. It was, however, not a happy return as OB, who surprisingly signed Zorniger as their new coach during the summer, were handed a virtual football lesson in an embarrassing 5-1 defeat.

The hosts kicked off the goal-show after eight minutes when Odense keeper Viljar Myhra saved an attempt from Jacob Ambaek, only for Sho Fukuda to capitalize on the rebound to give Brondby an early lead.

Noah Ganaus then restored parity after 26 minutes when he was put clean through on goal, but Nicolai Vallys restored the Brondby lead with a prolific header, and Daniel Wass converted a penalty to put the home side in solid control at the break.

OB began the second brightly with plenty of optimism in their build-up, but their last hope of staging an unlikely comeback was crushed when Vallys scored his second of the night, and with 64 minutes gone, Noah Nartey completed a miserable evening for the visitors.

After a disappointing start to the season, Silkeborg and Vejle were in desperate need of a win to escape the relegation zone on Sunday. Silkeborg seemed on their way towards recording the three points when leading goalscorer Tonni Adamsen gave the home side the lead after 22 minutes, but Vejle at least managed to get a share of the spoils when Bulgarian defender Stefan Velkov equalized after 73 minutes.

FC Fredericia have had a promising start since their promotion to the Danish Superliga, but their last win dates back to 24 August, and they were handed a further reality check when they lost 2-1 at the hands of Viborg FF. Fredericia, however, took the lead in Viborg after nine minutes through Gustav Marcussen. Tim Freriks then restored parity before the break, and one minute from the end, French striker Yonis Njoh stole the win for the home side.
