PSG coach Luis Enrique's presser touched upon many topics, from Giangluigi Donnarumma's exit to ways to improve ahead of the new season.
The state of fitness: "It's very different from what we usually do, but it's the calendar that means we have to take a three-week break. I don't know what level we'll be able to offer.
On Donnarumma: "These are always difficult decisions to make. Gigio is without doubt one of the best in his position. He's still a better person. We're looking for a different kind of keeper (...). It's my decision and that of the club, which supports me.
Staying at the top: "What we did last season was a dream for all the fans, the club and the players. We want to continue to make history. Our goal is a second Champions League. No one was in a position to say that we could win it and we proved to everyone that we could do it. Winning a second one will be very difficult, but we're happy to have this dream.
The Spaniard also had his say on his opponents for Wednesday, as well as the importance of enjoying victory.
On Tottenham: "I have to say it's difficult because Tottenham have changed manager and players. I don't know what kind of match they have planned. We only have a week's training but that's no excuse.
On the Ballon d'Or: "I think this trophy is important for football people, but our only objective as a team was to show that we were capable of winning. I think there should be more players on the list, but our first concern is the team and winning collective trophies. The individual trophies will come from that.
Savouring victory: "I have to say that I'm delighted to be here again. It's a great season ahead for us because we can still make history. I can understand that it's hard to savour because we have other challenges. We love playing, it's not a job or a business but a way of life. I'm delighted for the players, we want to give it our all.
Preparing for the penalty shoot-out without Donnarumma: "We didn't prepare for it, but it's normal to take Gigio's level into account with everything he's contributed, but I have to think about how to improve the team.
How to be better: "We have the mentality to think about being better, to improve. It's going to be difficult because we've won almost everything. This season will be very special because we can also make history. That's a real motivation (...) What has united us and characterised us is a great level of play, with a lot of stars but all at the service of the team. We'll be trying to give our best performance tomorrow, and we hope we'll be able to do that.
