Pittman, 28, signed a three-year, $59 million extension with the Steelers following the trade. He posted 784 receiving yards - fewest since rookie season (503) - and a career-high seven touchdowns last season with the Colts.
The move comes shortly after the team announced they signed breakout wide receiver Alec Pierce to a massive new deal (details here).
Pittman was selected by the Colts in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft and spent all six years of his career with the team before the trade. In those six years, Pittman has posted two 1,000-yard seasons (2021, 2023).
He'll be joining wide receiver D.K. Metcalf in Pittsburgh as a 1-2 punch for a Steelers team that won the AFC North division last year with a 10-7 record.
