Third seed Alexander Bublik fired 19 aces and joined elite company by defeating Chinese home favourite Wu Yibing 6-3, 6-3 in the semi-finals.

Bublik became the fourth man to reach finals on all three surfaces this season, joining Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev. He finished Monday's 61-minute victory with 28 winners and just six unforced errors.

With wins this season on clay (Gstaad, Kitzbuhel) and grass (Halle), Bublik will try to add a hardcourt title against French qualifier Valentin Royer. Royer saved both break points and defeated fourth-seeded countryman Corentin Moutet 6-3, 6-2 to reach his first tour-level final.
