Clara Tauson was not happy with the behavior of Paula Badosa when the Spaniard sent the Danish star crashing out of the WTA 1000 tournament Miami Open through a scoreline of 6-3, 7-6 on Sunday afternoon.

Badosa impressively won the match after having received treatment for back pain throughout the second set, which visibly frustrated Tauson , who are No 23 in the world rankings.

Badosa gradually regained her movement during the second set against a baffled Tauson and there was clearly tension between the two players on the court.

"I don't think she's my biggest fan. I don't really know why, because I haven't done anything to her", said Tauson TV2 Sport after the match. Tauson also adressed the referee after Badosa seemed to mock Tauson by clapping after Tauson made a drop shot that Badosa failed to reach.

"The referee just thought she said "well played" to me, but I'm almost 100 percent sure she didn't say that. I don't know why I should not be allowed to make a drop shot just because she was injured. I don't quite know what it has got to do with me, but she obviously thought it was wrong. I can't do anything about that",said Tauson.

Tauson was also very unhappy with the fact that Badosa was allowed a medical timeout during a game when she was down 15-40 which according to the rules is otherwise not allowed.

Tauson, who is set to be in action for Denmark in April in the Billie Jean Cup, did not wish to comment on how here calendar looks like in the  near future.

"No... for the moment you have to allow me to be really angry. I will probably be angry for a couple of days after this match. And then I have to relax and train again. I don't have much more to say about it. I just need to be allowed to be angry now."
