It's semi-final time from the ATP Shanghai Masters and the WTA Wuhan Open with Novak Djokovic kicking off a fascinating Saturday of tennis.

16:04 CET - That's that for today's tennis. We'll be back early tomorrow to bring you coverage of the finals in Shanghai and Wuhan, which will begin at 10:30 CET and 12:30 CET respectively.

See you then!

15:52 CET - "In the best dreams we couldn’t have dreamt about this," says Rinderknech after his win.

"I can’t even say it’s a dream. I don’t think even one person in our family dreamt about it. It wasn’t a dream. It’s just a dream that came out of nowhere and we started believing it maybe in the quarters."

What a story!

15:46 CET - Arthur Rinderknech joins his cousin in the Shanghai final!

The Frenchman has beaten Daniil Medvedev 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in two and a half hours to reach the first Masters 1000 final of his career, which will be a family affair.

Even putting aside the fact that their cousins, Rinderknech vs Vacherot is one of the most remarkable Masters 1000 finals in a long time, with the former having just 10 wins to his name at this level prior to this event and the latter only one.

15:21 CET - It'll be an all-American final in Wuhan!

Jessica Pegula has joined Gauff in the final by knocking out world number one Aryna Sabalenka, who won the opening set but ultimately lost 2-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2) after a final set that lasted over an hour and was led 5-2 by the Belarusian.

12:57 CET - Third seed Coco Gauff is through to the final in Wuhan!

The American proved too strong for seventh seed Jasmine Paolini, coming through 6-4, 6-3 in 83 minutes to set up a date with either Aryna Sabalenka or Jessica Pegula in tomorrow's showpiece.

12:52 CET - That will have been a painful loss for Djokovic, who will be aware that he may never get a better chance to win a big title, but he won't feel too hard done by, with Vacherot the better player for most of the encounter, making the most of the Serb's physical struggles.
