It’s a jam-packed day of Davis Cup qualifiers as several of the world’s best players take to the court to represent their nations. Meanwhile, there’s quarter-final action at tournaments in Montpellier, Linz and Singapore.

23:13 CET - All over in the Davis Cup World Group qualifiers for the day as Argentina have won their contest against Norway 3-2 in Oslo, thanks to Mariano Navone (23) beating Nicolai Budkov Kjaer (18) in a tight game 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.

21:25 CET - Fourth seed Ekaterina Alexandrova (30) has stayed true to form in Linz with a comeback 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory over Petra Martic (34).

Meanwhile, Germany have doubled their lead over Israel in their Davis Cup qualifier with Yannick Hanfmann (33) beating world number 556 Daniel Cukierman (29) 6-4, 6-4.

21:03 CET - Back to Montpellier, where Aleksandar Kovacevic (26) of the United States is through to the semi-finals with a stunning 6-3, 6-2 victory over fourth seed Alexander Bublik (27).

20:38 CET - Australia have taken a 2-0 lead in their Davis Cup tie against Sweden as Aleksander Vukic (28) has beaten Leo Borg (21) 6-4, 6-4 at the end of day one of the qualifiers.

20:02 CET - Top seed Andrey Rublev (27) has progressed to the semi-finals in Montpellier after his opponent Nikoloz Basilashvili (32) was forced to retire with an injury just 35 minutes into their match, while trailing 2-5.

Elsewhere, Casper Ruud (26) and Dino Prizmic (19) have won important rubbers for Norway and Croatia in the Davis Cup qualifiers.

19:04 CET - Over in Linz, No. 1 seed Karolina Muchova (28) was involved in a real tussle with former champion Anastasia Potapova (23), eventually coming out on top 6-3, 3-6, 6-3. She has moved into the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Alex De Minaur (25) has put Australia 1-0 up against Sweden in their Davis Cup qualifier after easing past Mikael Ymer (26) 7-5, 6-1.

18:30 CET - Tomas Machac (24) has given the Czech Republic a 2-0 lead in their qualifier against South Korea after a convincing 6-2, 6-2 triumph over Soonwoo Kwon (27).

Meanwhile, Jesper De Jong's (24) impressive week in Montpellier shows no signs of slowing down, with the Dutchman defeating compatriot Tallon Griekspoor (28) 7-6(5), 6-4.

17:58 CET - A couple more results to bring you from the Davis Cup qualifiers, with Austria's Lukas Neumayer (22) seeing off Otto Virtanen (23) of Finland 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-3 and Duje Ajdukovic (23) giving Croatia a winning start in their tie against Slovakia, defeating Lukas Klein (26) 7-6(4), 6-3.

17:03 CET - First blood to Czech Republic in their Davis Cup tie against South Korea as Jiri Lehecka (23) has comfortably seen off Gerard Campana Lee (20) 6-3, 6-3

16:41 CET - Elise Mertens (29) is through to the Singapore semi-finals with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Camila Osorio (23).

Meanwhile, Clara Tauson (22) continues her good form to progress into the final four in Linz after the Dane prevailed over Anna Blinkova (26) 6-4, 6-3.

16:09 CET - Felix Auger-Aliassime (24) is through to a second successive semi-final in Montpellier, with the Canadian easing past Yunchaokete Bu (23) in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4.

15:11 CET - Maria Sakkari (29) has been sent crashing out of Linz, losing to Ukraine's Dayana Yastremska (24) 5-7, 0-6.

Meanwhile, Xinyu Wang (23) has won a near three-and-a-half-hour thriller in Singapore, overcoming Jil Teichmann (27) 6-7(5), 7-6(5), 6-4.

11:12 CET - Despite having to take a medical time out in the second set, No. 1 seed Anna Kalinskaya (26) battled to a 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 victory over Thailand's Mananchaya Sawangkaew (22).

09:31 CET - The first player through to the semi-finals in Singapore is American Ann Li (24), who defeated Kimberly Birrell (26) in two tight sets, 7-6(2), 7-6(4).

08:58 CET - There's already been plenty of Davis Cup action overnight and early this morning, with USA racing into a 2-0 lead in their qualifier against Taiwan courtesy of straight-set victories for Marcos Giron (31) and Alex Michelsen (20).

Elsewhere, Great Britain and Japan are level at 1-1 after Jacob Fearnley's (23) 6-3, 6-3 triumph over Kei Nishikori (35) cancelled out Yoshihito Nishioka's (29) earlier win.
