With the start of the singles tournaments in Brisbane, Hong Kong and Auckland, the tennis season is well and truly back! That also means the Tennis Tracker makes its return, with eyes also firmly on the United Cup which sees a whole host of heavyweight players in action.

18:15 CET - In the final match of the day, the USA claimed the victory over Canada in Group A at the United Cup, with dynamic duo Taylor Fritz (27) and Coco Gauff (20) battling to a tight 7-6(2), 7-5 win over Felix Auger-Aliassime (24) and Leylah Fernandez (22).

15:35 CET - What a comeback from Felix Auger-Aliassime (24)! The Canadian was 6-4, 5-4 down to Taylor Fritz (27) but the American couldn't serve it out and ended up losing, meaning this tie will do to a deciding doubles clash.

14:30 CET - The first match of the ATP tournament in Brisbane has been won by wildcard Aleksandar Vukic (28), who has beaten veteran David Goffin (34) 6-2, 6-3.

12:55 CET - Coco Gauff (20) has started her new season with an impressive 6-3, 6-2 win over Canada's Leylah Fernandez (22), meaning that the US will advance in the United Cup if Taylor Fritz (27) can now beat Felix Auger-Aliassime (24).

In Brisbane meanwhile, Marie Bouzkova (26) has beaten Talia Gibson (20) 7-6, 3-6, 6-3 and Magda Linette (32) has lost 6-4, 6-4 to McCartney Kessler (25) in what were the two final matches of the day.

11:28 CET - Jasmine Paolini (28) has secured a victory for Italy against Switzerland by beating Belinda Bencic (27) 6-1, 6-1 in just under an hour.

09:34 CET - While Tomas Machac (24) was narrowly beaten by Ruud, the Czech Republic still knocked out Norway thanks to wins in the singles and doubles for Karolina Muchova (28).
