The two women's finalists of this year's Wimbledon will be decided today, with Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek going up against Amanda Anisimova and Belinda Bencic respectively.

19:05 CET - Iga Swiatek has crushed Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-0 to breeze into her first Wimbledon final, where she will take on Amanda Anisimova.

The eighth-seeded Pole obliterated her Swiss opponent in just over an hour to move into Saturday's decider. 

Her next test, however, ought to be a lot stiffer with Anisimova stunning the world number one earlier and in fine form herself. Bring it on!

18:42 CET - Swiatek is flying towards the final! The Pole won the first set 6-2 in just 37 minutes and is a break up in the second.

17:45 CET - Iga Swiatek will be sensing a huge opportunity to win her sixth Grand Slam and her first Wimbledon title now that the top seed and her main rival for the last few years is out.

Grass has always been her weakest surface, but she's looked good on her way to the semis this year.

17:27 CET - What a story that is. Animisova has had some incredibly tough times on and off court over the last few years, but has overcome all and now stands one win away from tennis' biggest prize.

There wasn't much between her and Sabalenka today, but she stepped up on the biggest points.

17:13 CET - Amanda Anisimova is into the Wimbledon final! A game after serving for the match but being denied, the American breaks the world number one to secure the biggest win of her life!

The 23-year-old moves into the first Grand Slam final of her career with a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win.

17:08 CET - Things are getting almighty tense on Centre Court, where Sabalenka has just saved a match point while trailing 5-3 to get the final set back on serve.

16:20 CET - The world number one levels things up! Anisimova fought hard, saving four break points at 5-4, but couldn't break back after losing her serve two games earlier.

Sabalenka served much better in that set, getting 70% of her first serves in as opposed to 62% in the opener, and winning 81% as opposed to 65%.

15:36 CET - Amanda Anisimova is leading Aryna Sabalenka 6-4 in the first women's semi-final at Wimbledon!

The red-hot American was pushed all the way in the opening set by the world number one, but she managed to break serve late on and clinch it. Is the upset on?

14:32 CET - We are just minutes away from the first women's semi-final at Wimbledon, with Aryna Sabalenka and Amanda Anisimova on court warming up! Hopefully it is a cracker.

12:18 CET - We have just over two hours to go until the first semi-final of the tournament, between Aryna Sabalenka and Amanda Anisimova.

At one point in the last round, it looked like the world number one wouldn't make it this far, with Laura Siegemund leading by a break in the deciding set before Sabalenka turned things around.

Anisimova, meanwhile, saved five set points to beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova after coming through a real battle against Linda Noskova.

As mentioned, the American leads the H2H with Sabalenka, but the latter has held the edge in their recent meetings.
