The contracts of Jens Husebo, Robert Undheim, and Axel Kryger in Bryne have been terminated at Bryne. The reason is not yet known, but the decision has caused several reactions, including from Erling Braut Haaland, who played for the club during his childhood.
A clearly frustrated Erling Braut Haaland took to social media to address the situation at the club after midnight on Wednesday morning.
"Speak out", Bryne FK. What the hell is going on?" wrote Haaland on Snapchat.
The Norwegian international striker then received a question from a follower who wondered if he shouldn't be in bed.
"Yes, I should, but there is chaos in my home club, and it pisses me off, so now I can't sleep", answered Haaland.
National team manager Stale Solbakken was asked about "sleepless" Haaland at a press conference on Wednesday ahead of the friendly against Finland on Thursday.
"I slept well, and Haaland was awake. It's good for HamKam (in the relegation battle)", says Solbakken.
He was then asked what he thinks about the situation in Bryne and Haaland's involvement.
"I read on the bus on the way here that he had said something about it. Then he's probably concerned about it; it's his childhood club, so it's natural", said Solbakken who confirmed that Haaaland will be in the starting lineup Thursday urging him to get some sleep.
Norway is leading their World Cup Group I with a perfect record after four matches.
