Botic van de Zandschulp hit a highlight reel tweener lob as he knocked qualifier Harry Wendelken out of Queen's Club in London in two sets.

Van de Zandschulp, now ranked 56th after his first-round exit in 's-Hertogenbosch, was drawn against Wendelken for his final warm-up tournament before Wimbledon.

The Dutchman played an up-and-down opening set with seven winners and 17 unforced errors. Van de Zandschulp and Wendelken kept each other in check until the 12th and final game, in which Van de Zandschulp broke the Englishman on love to take the set.

Van de Zandschulp took on a more kamikaze style of tennis in the second set, which became an all-out brawl between the Dutchman and Briton with 15 break points. Van de Zandschulp recorded a staggering 31 unforced errors and 25 winners, the best of which came late in the second set, when the Dutchman hit a perfect tweener lob.

The two didn't escape each other in the tail end of the second set, after which Wendelken raced to a 5-2 tiebreak lead to come close to forcing a third and decisive set. However, Van de Zandschulp stood up, winning the last five points in a row to clinch the match 6-4, 7-5 (5).

In the second round of Queen's, Van de Zandschulp will face the winner of the matchup between eighth seed Tommy Paul and 'lucky loser' Zachary Svajda.
