Already feeling the heat of the race for European qualification, Brentford host Nottingham Forest, whose head coach Oliver Glasner is under pressure after a poor start to the campaign.

Match News and Current Form

Brentford came from behind to rescue a 1-1 draw at Hull last weekend, maintaining their record of having lost just once this season in the Premier League (W2, D5). It’s now just one win in seven league games since thrashing Tottenham 3-0 on the opening day though, with only Leeds having drawn as many matches as the Bees pre-round. Keith Andrews’ side remain within touching distance of the European spots and were unbeaten in eight Premier League home games (W3, D5) before losing to Liverpool last time out here. They’ve not lost successive home league matches since February 2025, though the first defeat on that occasion came against Liverpool!

Forest’s summer appointment Glasner is under growing pressure having endured a less than impressive start to the season. After being pegged back to draw 1-1 at Ipswich last week, the Tricky Trees still have just one league win to their name this term (D3, L4), and remain in the relegation zone. It’s not all doom and gloom for a Forest side who sit a point better off than the same stage last season, but that offers little consolation given they've now won just one of their last 13 competitive matches (D5, L7), though that sole success came on the road against Aston Villa last month.

Head-to-Head History

This pair have each won three of the eight Premier League H2Hs (D2), including two victories apiece in meetings at the Gtech Community Stadium. Forest won both H2Hs last season by a two-goal margin.

Betting Analysis

Forest are unfancied here, but Brentford have struggled to turn their dominance into wins of late, so a draw is appealing.
