Torino look for a fourth straight Serie A win for the first time since 2015, but will face stiff competition from a Como side who are enjoying their best-ever start to a top-flight season.

Match News and Current Form

Following a torrid start to their Serie A season (W1, D1, L3), Torino have finally found their feet with three straight league victories for the first time since 2019. They can now lay claim to being amongst the early runners in the European race, with only pacesetters Lazio entering this round on a longer winning run in Serie A than Torino, who also sit on a higher points tally than at the same stage of any of their last eight Serie A seasons. Ignazio Abate’s men will likely need yet another strong attacking performance to secure an elusive fourth straight win, with the Turin-based side yet to keep a home league clean sheet this season.

Much like their hosts, Como head into this on the back of three straight victories across Serie A and Europe, but they sit four points better off than their opponents. Cesc Fàbregas’ side are enjoying their strongest-ever start to a top-flight campaign and could register a second run of four straight competitive wins this season here. Playing away shouldn’t particularly faze Como, who have one of the best travelling records in the division (W3, D1, L1) despite five of their seven dropped points coming on the road.

Head-to-Head History

Torino have largely dominated the overall H2H scene since the very first meeting in 1949/50 (W21, D10, L9). More recent clashes have swung in Como’s favour as they arrive here on the back of a club-record three consecutive wins over Torino, while scoring 12 goals in the process.

Betting Analysis

A heavy schedule could eventually catch up with Como, so there may be value in a Torino/Draw double chance selection.
