FC Copenhagen continued their dismal streak of poor performances when they were left to settle for a goalless draw against Viborg at home.

FC Copenhagen had only won one of its five home games in the Danish Superliga before Sunday's match against Viborg FF, and those statistics didn't improve with the hugely disappointing draw in the Parken Stadium.

With the goalless draw, the home side, who are currently in third place, lost two points at the top of the table as AGF as well as FC Midtjylland also lost their games.

At the other end of the table, Viborg has just one win to show for their last six games. Viborg are just two points ahead of FC Fredericia, who are positioned in the relegation zone.

The home side struggled to create chances throughout the match, but they came close to breaking the deadlock when an attempt from Mohamed Elyounoussi was deflected off the post.

Viborg came close to taking the lead when Asker Beck missed the target from the edge of the box, and Jordan Larsson also failed to find the target from a promising position in the first half, which was symbolic of the first 45 minutes.

Viborg was well organized in defense, also helped by midfielder Jeppe Gronning, who played his 400th game for the visitors.

In the second half, the home side upped the pace but still struggled to threaten the visitors' goal.  Both Junnosuke Suzuki and the substitute Youssoufa Moukoko lacked the necessary sharpness at crucial moments.

Towards the end, the woodwork denied an attempt from FC Copenhagen's Robert Silva, and so it all ended with another disappointing performance from Jacob Neestrup's men.
